Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what azerothsurvivors.io collects when you read the pages or press Play, what Google may collect because this site uses Analytics and AdSense, and the choices you have. It was last updated on 20 October 2026.

Who this policy covers

It covers the fan site at azerothsurvivors.io, including the home page, the guide pages, the download notes, and the play frame on this domain. It does not cover wow.aethus.pl, Discord, GitHub, or any other site you open from a link here. Those services have their own policies.

The site is an unofficial fan page. It is not Blizzard Entertainment, and it is not Aethus, the author of the game. See About for that split.

What this site stores itself

The pages are static. There is no account, no comment box, no newsletter, and no form that saves a message on this server. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details, and we do not run a user database.

Ordinary web hosting still receives technical data when your browser requests a page: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, a browser user-agent, and a referring URL if your browser sends one. That data is used to deliver the page and to keep the host operating. We do not sell it.

This site does not ask your browser for precise location (no geolocation prompt). It does not read contacts, photos, or files on your device.

Cookies and similar identifiers

A cookie is a small text file a site or a third party stores in your browser. Similar tools include local storage and pixels (also called web beacons). This fan site does not set its own login cookie, because there is nothing to log into.

Google products on these pages can set and read cookies, and can use IP addresses and similar identifiers, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking them can stop Analytics from counting the visit and can change which ads Google is able to show. The game frame may still load.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FTBNJKP2EX) to count visits, see which guides are opened, and notice broken paths. Analytics sets its own cookies, commonly named _ga and related _ga_ cookies. Google receives your IP address with those requests. We use the reports in aggregate. We do not upload a customer list, an email, or a phone number into Analytics.

Google's description of how Analytics handles data is at policies.google.com/privacy and Google's Analytics safeguards . You can install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on if you do not want Analytics to measure this browser.

Advertising and third-party cookies

We use Google AdSense (publisher ID pub-6151352187062233) to show ads. Ads help pay for the fan site. They are not part of the game, and nothing on these pages asks you to click them.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person's prior visits to this site or to other sites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and to other sites on the internet. Those vendors may also use web beacons and IP addresses to recognise a browser and to measure whether an ad was shown.

The ad request from this site does not include your name, email address, phone number, or any account identifier. Do not add those details to the page address if you share a link.

How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/technologies/ads .

Personalized ads and how to opt out

Personalized ads (also called interest-based ads) use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads that relate to sites you have visited. We do not build our own audience lists, and we do not target ads using health, religion, sexual orientation, or other sensitive categories. We do not run housing, employment, or credit ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google:

Opting out does not turn ads off. It asks Google to show ads that are not based on your interests. Browser controls and a consent choice, where one is shown, can also limit personalization.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google's EU user-consent policy requires a choice before cookies are used for personalized ads. When that choice is required, a consent message from a Google-certified consent tool should appear before personalized ads are requested. Until you accept, ads should stay non-personalized or should not be personalized with those cookies. You can change a Google ad personalization choice later in Ads Settings .

The game frame

Pressing Play loads the game from its own host, wow.aethus.pl, inside a frame on this page. That request goes to Aethus's host, not to a copy stored here. The game host can see the technical data a normal page request sends, including your IP address. This privacy policy does not control that host. If the frame fails, the notes on Can't play? stay on this site.

Children

This fan site is a general-audience guide to a browser game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The pages have no sign-up and no comment box. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, email support@azerothsurvivors.io and we will delete what we actually hold. That is the message you chose to send, which we do not store in a database on this server.

Changes

If the measurement tools or the ad provider change, this page will change with them. The date at the top is the date of the latest edit. Continued use of the site after an update means the new text applies to later visits.

How to ask a privacy question

Email support@azerothsurvivors.io or use the contact page. Say which page you visited and what you want to know. The address you write from, and the text you send, are used only to reply. Do not send passwords or payment numbers; this site has no use for them.
