This site publishes original text, tables and screenshots, and it links to or embeds games that other people made. It does not host game files. If something here infringes your rights, this page explains how to get it removed.
What this site hosts
- Original guide text, data tables and page layouts written for this site.
- Screenshots taken from public builds, used to describe those builds.
- Cover images for catalog games, credited on each game page.
It does not host, mirror or reupload any game build. Azeroth Survivors is linked from its author's host. Catalog games are loaded through the embed their author publishes, or linked to the author's site.
Trademarks
World of Warcraft, Warcraft and Azeroth are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Game titles, cover art and in-game assets belong to their respective authors. Their appearance here describes or links to those games; it does not claim ownership.
Filing a takedown notice
Send a notice to support@azerothsurvivors.io with the subject line "Copyright notice". A usable notice includes:
- Your name and contact details.
- The URL on this site that you say infringes your work.
- The work you own, and where it was published first.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Notices are reviewed within two business days. Material that is the subject of a complete notice is removed or disabled while the claim is checked, typically within 24 hours of review. The person who supplied the material is told what was removed, unless the notice asks otherwise.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, write to the same address with the URL, an explanation, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. A valid counter-notice is passed on to the original complainant.
Game authors
If you made one of the games in the catalog and you would rather not be listed, say so and the page is removed. The same goes for a cover image: it will be swapped for a plain card or the entry dropped entirely, whichever you prefer.
