Azeroth Survivors Hunter Build

Hunter build direction for 0.139.2 (5cb6deb36).

By Azeroth Survivors Guide · Updated 3 November 2026 Original browser game · v0.139.2 (5cb6deb36) data

The Hunter build in Azeroth Survivors is a direction, not a recipe. Pet uptime and pierce or multi-target cards are the whole damage plan: keep the companion fighting, thin the wave in front of you, then take movement and attack speed. Card offers are random, so you steer toward shots that fire while you walk instead of locking a fixed list. This page deepens that rule for browser build 0.139.2. Auto Shot already works on the move, so never stand still for a louder single hit. Use the builds hub when you want every class in one place. Use the tier list when you care about ease versus ceiling. Use how to play when the Elwynn clock still feels foggy. By the time Rhahk'Zor and Mr. Smite arrive with company, the lane you kite should already be pierced.

Early priorities

Auto Shot fires while you move, so the early build should never ask you to plant. Take multi-target or piercing cards that thin the wave in front of you, then movement and attack speed so the kite stays honest. The pet is damage you did not press a key for — a card that keeps it alive usually beats a card that only makes your own shot louder. Keep a lane behind you and do not back into a second pack while you kite the first. The azeroth survivors builds hub has the one-line direction for every class; this page is the longer Hunter pass.

What to refuse

A melee-range card looks like free damage and deletes the ranged opener the kit is built around. Melee range cards are not for this class. Refuse offers that only pay off when you stand still, or that ask you to trade face damage instead of walking the lane. Pure single-target spikes before pierce thins the pack leave every add around the boss alive, and the 240 pool disappears between minutes nine and twelve. If the offer does not help the pet stay up or let Auto Shot cut through a line while you move, skip it and wait for the next three. Ease versus ceiling for Hunter against the other eight lives on the azeroth survivors tier list.

Before the Elwynn bosses

Hogger and Mother Fang teach the kite lane. Rhahk'Zor at 9:00 and Mr. Smite at 12:00 arrive with company, and that company is what ends runs that only stacked stand-still boss damage. By those minutes pierce should already thin the line you walk, so the pack dies while Auto Shot and the pet work and you keep moving. VanCleef at 16:00 is the same rule under more pressure: pet uptime and multi-target first, then attack speed if the wave thickens. Read the boss clock on azeroth survivors how to play if the times still feel foggy — the build only works if you are still walking when the names show.

Hunter Build Pet and pierce

Card offers are random; steer toward pet uptime and pierce or multi-target, never a stand-still card.

Questions

Is Hunter still fine after a first Paladin clear?

Yes. The 240 health pool and Auto Shot leave room to learn a kite lane once the Elwynn clock is familiar. This page is about steering pet uptime and pierce once you already picked Hunter — not about ranking the other eight.

Why does the ceiling feel high if early minutes still punish mistakes?

Ease and ceiling are different axes. Hunter scores high on damage once pierce and pet uptime are online, but getting pinned still spends the 240 pool fast. The tier list scores both; this page only steers the cards.

What wrong builds do new Hunters take most often?

Stand-still aimed spikes, melee-range cards that ask you to trade face damage, and loud single-target shots before the wave thins. Those offers look strong and leave you planted while Auto Shot already fires on the move.

Do I need a fixed card order for VanCleef?

No. Offers are random. Keep the pet alive, pierce the lane you kite before 9:00, then take movement and attack speed when packs thicken. That direction clears Elwynn without a locked recipe.
